Presents & Remains

Living on the premise

The past relays return
Alkaline to acid
On the fence of reaction
Wearing a mask to burn
I can’t always make it easy
Inexplicably and indubitably
Living on the premise
I was looking for my journal freely
When all of the sudden
A deluge of thoughts
As I point out the
Obviously ransacked and flooded
As I used to paint my face
With lashes of forever
Gazing at our feet
Whispering ditties and eating moon pies
Wrestling with that successor
Until one day we meet
Living on the premise
Now presents and remains
Living on the premise
